I am a professional Adirondack artist living with my husband,Gino, in Lake Luzerne in upstate New York, where I have my own gallery. During the winter I create four or five paintings for prints to release when the busy season begins in June. My work is very detailed and time consuming. Gino read an article about Duane Keiser's "Painting a Day" project and the idea intrigued me. Instead of getting bogged down for a long time on one painting, I could do something new each day! Even though I'll continue and still enjoy working on the larger works, this is more like painting for fun! I started them on March 7th and posted them on www.lynnbenevento.com.
